Class Offerings

Whether you're learning life-saving skills for the first time, earning certification for work, or renewing your credentials, these American Red Cross courses are designed to be flexible, accessible, and practical for real-life situations. Training is led by Jessica Wright, RN, and is available for individuals, families, schools, businesses, and community groups up to 12 people per class.

Course Format: All classes are available in person or in a hybrid format (online coursework with an in-person skills session), except Babysitter's Training (Foundations), which is offered in person only.

First Aid/CPR/AED

Learn the essential skills to recognize and respond to common medical emergencies. This American Red Cross course teaches participants how to provide first aid, perform high-quality CPR, and use an AED with confidence until emergency medical services arrive.

You'll Learn:

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR

  • How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Choking relief

  • Basic first aid for injuries and sudden illnesses

  • Bleeding control and emergency response

  • When and how to call 9-1-1

Certification: American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (valid for 2 years).

Babysitter's Training (Foundations)

$80

Format: In-Person Only

Designed for youth ages 11–16, this American Red Cross course teaches the essential skills needed to become a safe, responsible, and confident babysitter. Participants learn how to care for children and infants, handle common challenges, create a safe environment, and build the skills needed to start a successful babysitting business.

  • Leadership and responsibility

  • Child and infant care basics

  • Feeding, diapering, and safe play

  • Behavior management

  • Home and emergency safety

  • Choking relief and bleeding control

  • How to start and market a babysitting business

Certification: American Red Cross Babysitter's Training (valid for 2 years).

Babysitter's Training + First Aid/CPR/AED

Format: Hybrid (Online + In-Person Skills Session) or In-Person

This enhanced American Red Cross course includes everything covered in the Babysitter's Training (Foundations) course, plus First Aid, CPR, and AED training for children and infants. Participants gain the skills and confidence to respond to medical emergencies, making them even more prepared and valuable as babysitters.

  • Everything included in Babysitter's Training (Foundations)

  • Child and infant CPR

  • AED use

  • First aid for injuries and sudden illnesses

  • Emergency response and accident prevention

Certification: American Red Cross Babysitter's Training with First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (valid for 2 years).

Basic Life Support (BLS)

$90

Designed for healthcare professionals and first responders, this American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides the skills needed to recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, and work effectively as part of a resuscitation team.

You'll Learn:

  • Adult, child, and infant high-quality CPR

  • Team-based CPR and emergency response

  • AED use for all ages

  • Bag-mask ventilation techniques

  • Recognition and management of life-threatening emergencies

  • Choking relief for adults, children, and infants

Certification: American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (valid for 2 years).
